The Ararat to Ararat committee was established by Homenetmen Glendale "Ararat" Chapter's Executive Board of Directors on May 7, 2005.

The purpose of this committee is to identify and contact the growing numbers of the former members of Armenian Cultural Ararat Organization, to develop and implement events and projects, and encourage those members to get involved in different programs organized by this committee.

The committee also provides opportunities for Araratakans to be involved in diverse programs of Homenetmen Glendale Ararat Chapter through their participation in athletic, cultural, scouting, fund-raising, social and community involvement programs offered by the Chapter.

The events and projects sponsored by the committee would create opportunities for Araratakans to meet on different occasions, to help enrich the archival program, create and maintain a website where pictures, video clips and news would be available to all Araratakans.

The committee would also thrive to be a destination hub for those Araratakans who move to Southern California from different parts of the world and would like to join their friends, fellow teammates and scouts.
